Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BuildOnCue ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

BuildOnCue provides downloadable "skill prompts" — structured markdown documents designed to help users generate software using AI tools. Skills are accessed through a web-based platform with subscription-based pricing.

3. Accounts

You must sign in with a valid Google account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under it.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

• Free Trial: New users may start a 7-day free trial of the Pro plan. A valid payment method is required. You will be charged automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel beforehand.
• Pro Plan: $7 USD/month (billed annually at $84) or $27 USD/month (billed monthly). Includes unlimited skill downloads.
• Enterprise Plan: $9 USD per seat per month with a minimum of 10 seats.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the Stripe billing portal. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: Payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Redistribute, resell, or publicly share downloaded skill content without permission.
• Attempt to circumvent access controls, download limits, or subscription requirements.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.

6. Intellectual Property

All skill content, designs, and code provided through the Service are the intellectual property of BuildOnCue. Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use downloaded skills for your own projects.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that skills will produce error-free software or meet your specific requirements. You are responsible for reviewing and testing all generated code.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BuildOnCue shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New Zealand.
